KJ Luxury Bathrooms started with tile back in 2005.
Before there was a company, a van or a logo, there was Kostas on his knees with a trowel, laying floors and walls across Dublin. Twenty years later that's still the part of the job he's fussiest about, and it's still where most of our reputation comes from. Tiling is unforgiving work — a floor that isn't dead level or a wall that isn't set out properly will show in the grout lines forever, no matter how good the tile was. Learning to get it right takes years, and nobody has found a shortcut yet.
Our Work The business grew because customers kept asking for more.
People who'd hired us to tile started asking who was doing the plumbing, who was fitting the shower, who was sourcing the materials — and the honest answer was that co-ordinating four different trades was usually the worst part of their renovation. So we took it on ourselves. Today KJ Luxury Bathrooms handles the whole job: planning the layout, supplying the tiles and sanitaryware, running the pipework, tiling the room and fitting everything out. One team, one point of contact, one person responsible if something isn't right.
We stayed small on purpose.
The person who comes out to quote your bathroom is the person who does the work. There's no site manager between you and the job, no crew you've never met arriving on the first morning, and no wondering who to ring when you have a question. It means we can't take on twenty jobs at once — but it also means every bathroom we finish is one we'd be happy to put our name on. If something isn't right, you say it directly to the man holding the trowel, and it gets sorted.
Two decades on, most of our work still comes from word of mouth.
We work across Dublin and up to 100 km out — Meath, Kildare, Wicklow, Louth and beyond — and the majority of our jobs come from someone who saw a bathroom we did for a friend, a neighbour or a family member. That's the only advertising that has ever really worked for us, and it only works if the last job was done properly.
