Every photo on this page is a real bathroom we designed, plumbed, tiled and fitted ourselves — no stock images, no showroom mock-ups. They range from compact ensuites in Dublin city to full wet rooms and family bathrooms out in Meath and Kildare. Some are complete strip-outs where we started from bare walls; others are older rooms brought back to life with new tiling and fittings. Where we have the before shots, we've included them, because the difference is usually the most honest thing we can show you. If you see a finish you like, mention it when you call and we'll tell you exactly what went into it.
Calacatta & Brushed Gold Ensuite
A compact ensuite finished wall-to-wall in Calacatta-effect porcelain, with the gold veining running true across every corner. Brushed gold runs right through the room — the shower enclosure profiles, the riser rail, the towel rail, the tap and the mirror frame all matched deliberately. A recessed niche was built into the wall during first fix, so there's storage in the shower without a single fitting breaking the tile line. The backlit mirror and gloss white vanity keep the room bright, which matters in a space this size. Everything here was laid, plumbed and fitted by us from bare walls.
Marble & Oak Shower Room
Calacatta-effect wall tiles paired with a warm oak-look porcelain floor — the contrast keeps the room from feeling cold. The WC is wall-hung on a concealed frame, which frees up the floor and makes cleaning far easier. A niche with a glass shelf was set into the shower wall, and the concealed cistern plate sits flush with the tile face rather than proud of it. Chrome brassware throughout, with a sliding enclosure chosen to suit the door swing in a tight space. A straightforward room, done to the same standard as a much bigger job.
Soft Stone Ensuite with Walk-In Shower
Large-format stone-effect porcelain in a soft cream, laid to keep the joints running level on every wall. The walk-in shower sits behind a single fixed glass panel with a low-profile tray, so there's nothing to trip over. Two glass shelves were recessed into the shower wall in a single niche — cut into the tile, not screwed on afterwards. The oval backlit mirror and chrome fittings give the room some shape without cluttering it. Quiet, neutral and built to stay looking that way.
Green Marble Statement Bathroom
The client wanted something with real character, and this porcelain delivered it — a dramatic green-and-white marble with heavy veining across floor and walls. Setting it out took time: every sheet had to be planned so the veins ran continuously across the corners and around the WC. Dark green gloss metro tiles were used as a contrast band, with a framed mirror and brushed gold tap to warm it up. The wall-hung WC sits on a concealed frame with under-lighting beneath it. Bold tile like this only works if the setting-out is right, and that's the whole job here.
Classic Panelled Bathroom in Burgundy
A traditional scheme built around a burgundy vanity and a panel-effect wall tile that reads like painted timber. The floor is a patterned monochrome porcelain, laid to a set-out that centres the pattern in the room rather than letting it run off at the walls. Traditional cross-head brassware, a period-style basin and glass wall lights complete the look. The corner shower has a recessed niche with a glass shelf and a dark tray to ground the space. Proof that not every bathroom has to be grey and modern.
Travertine & Bronze Family Bathroom
Large-format travertine-effect porcelain across floor and walls, in a warm sand tone that suits the natural light in this room. All the brassware is brushed bronze — bath filler, shower valve, riser and towel rail — matched to a black-framed bath screen. The floating dark timber vanity carries a counter-top basin, with the waste and pipework hidden inside the unit. A backlit mirror sits between the two windows, and the WC is wall-hung on a concealed frame. Calm, warm and very easy to live with.
Oak-Effect Wet Room
A true wet room: no tray, no step, just a linear drain set into a fall built up during first fix. The oak-effect plank porcelain runs from the floor straight up the feature wall, which is where the setting-out really counts — every plank had to line through between floor and wall. Matte black brassware and a black towel rail sit against the timber tone, with a single glass panel and no door. A floating vanity with a counter-top basin keeps the floor clear right through. Getting the falls right is the difference between a wet room and a puddle, and that work is all under the tile.
Sea Green & Gold Family Bathroom
Handmade-look glazed tile in a sea green, run at half height around the room with a bullnose trim finishing the top edge cleanly. The floor is a patterned encaustic-effect porcelain, set out so the pattern lands square to the bath and the doorway. Brushed gold brassware throughout, against a deep navy vanity — a combination the client picked and we'd happily do again. Both a bath and a separate gold-framed shower enclosure were fitted into the room without it feeling crowded. One of our favourite jobs of the year.
Calacatta & Walnut Ensuite
Calacatta-effect porcelain on every wall, with a walnut-tone floating vanity and brushed gold brassware to break up the white. The walk-in shower uses a slim tray with gold-profile glass, and the enclosure was set out so the glass lands on a full tile rather than a thin cut. A recessed niche and a matching gold towel rail were planned in before the plumbing was closed up. The backlit mirror sits centred over the vanity, with the socket and switching run behind the wall. A bright, clean room that photographs almost exactly as it looks in person.
Teal Brick & Matte Black
A modern scheme built on contrast: soft grey large-format porcelain through the main room, and a deep teal glazed brick tile inside the shower. Everything else is matte black — the WC, the vanity, the brassware, the enclosure frame and the rail. The brick tile was set in a half-bond with a slim recessed niche cut into it, keeping the coursing unbroken around the opening. The wall-hung WC and floating vanity leave the floor completely clear, which makes a small room read much larger. Strong colours like this need restraint everywhere else, and that's the balance we were after.
Grey Marble Ensuite with Mosaic Feature
Grey marble-effect porcelain with a mosaic-textured feature panel running behind the shower, used to break up an otherwise flat wall. A quadrant enclosure was chosen to fit the room's shape and keep the door clear of the vanity. The graphite floating unit and rounded backlit mirror keep the finish contemporary without being cold. Chrome brassware and a matching towel rail throughout. A small ensuite that uses every centimetre it has.
White Metro & Oak with Crittall Screen
A compact family bathroom in gloss white metro tile, laid in a stretcher bond with the coursing kept level right around the room. An oak-effect plank porcelain wraps the bath panel and the wall behind it, warming up what would otherwise be a very white space. The black Crittall-style bath screen sets the tone, matched by a black towel rail, black brassware and a round black-framed mirror. The vanity was chosen slim to leave usable floor in a narrow room. Simple materials, but the set-out is what makes it work.
Charcoal & Champagne Gold Shower Room
Dark charcoal stone-effect porcelain across the whole room, which is a brave choice and one that pays off with the right fittings. Champagne gold was used throughout — the enclosure profiles, the riser rail, both towel rails and the shower valve. Two recessed niches with glass shelves were built into the shower wall side by side, each framed in matching gold trim. Getting the trims mitred and the shelves level in a dark tile takes patience, because every line shows. The result is a room that feels more like a hotel than a house.
Grey Stone Walk-In Shower Room
Large-format grey stone-effect porcelain on floor and walls, in a room the family now uses every day. The walk-in shower sits on a low-profile tray behind a single fixed panel, with the shower valve set at a comfortable height rather than wherever the pipework happened to land. A recessed niche with a glass shelf was built into the wall, and a long backlit mirror shelf runs above the vanity. The floating grey unit and chrome fittings keep it neutral and easy to maintain. These photos were taken well after handover — it still looks like this.
